I found this on PostSecret for this week (Sun 22nd April 2007 – 28th April ‘07). PostSecret’s idea to is to allow people to send in their secrets on the back of a postcard, anonymously.
Immediately after that “secret”, there are these emails that have been sent in, and these were the ones that were picked out and put up on the website.

Subject: PostSecretI grew up being in fear that I was asian. Now after VT I too am more scared then ever. It’s good to see that someone else feels the same way I do . . . That email message made me feel better about the situation we are in now.

I was sure I also saw another email with somebody objecting to the posting of the first email and/or postcard. May have been taken down though.
Anyway, my point being is that after Virginia Tech, I would like comments (not that I’m going to get any). Should the Asian community feel anything about it? After all, mental health issues are usually swept under the carpet in Asian families, so does that mean they should have to care?
